The Good Samaritan Fund is a self-sufficiency program designed to provide one-time financial assistance to individuals facing a crisis. Funds are raised locally in St. Cloud and benefit residents within a 20-mile radius. This program offers a “help-up” rather than a “handout,” aiming to assist people in overcoming immediate financial challenges.
We collaborate with local organizations to receive referrals for those in need, providing support for expenses like rent or mortgage payments, vehicle repairs, medical bills, or other unexpected costs that can disrupt a household’s stability. While many outstanding programs in the area offer similar support, not everyone qualifies for them. The Good Samaritan Fund bridges these gaps, helping individuals regain their footing.
Importantly, all donations to the Good Samaritan Fund II go directly to supporting client cases.
