Join us for a day of learning focused on community foundations. Designed for board members, volunteers and anyone who wants their community foundation to prosper, we will be offering a wide variety of sessions to expand your knowledge about what a community foundation is, what it can do for your community and tools to help your foundation grow.

Introduction to Corporate Giving: How and Why Companies Give

The Central Minnesota Community Foundation (CMCF) in St. Cloud will host will host two free workshops. Each session will feature these three topics:

  • Introduction to Corporate Giving: How and Why Companies Give to Nonprofits
  • How to Find Corporate Partners
  • Finding other funding through the Foundation Directory Online, a research tool to find funding for non-profit projects

CMCF is proud to be a partner of the Funding Information Network (FIN) for the Foundation Center in New York. As a partner, CMCF offers access to the Funding Information Network located in CMCF’s Resource Center.

Session One- 9:00am - 12:00pm

Session Two- 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Space is limited to 25 participants. Registration is required.

Informational Meetings for 2018 Minnesota State Opportunity Grant

The Central Minnesota Community Foundation will be hosting two informational meetings in regards to the 2018 Minnesota State Opportunity Grant that will be open for applications from December 1st to January 31st. Information for the meetings is below. Registration is required to attend these meetings.

Tuesday, December 5 - 6:00-8:00 PM
Wednesday, December 6 - 3:00-5:00 PM

Location - Sandler Training, 26 8th Avenue South, St. Cloud MN 56301

Space is limited to 35 participants so registration is REQUIRED.

If you are considering applying for this grant, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you attend one of these meetings.


REMINDER - To be eligible for this grant the project/program must fulfill the following:

-The program/project must serve people of color in one of the following Minnesota counties: Benton County, Stearns County, Sherburne County

-Applicants must be one of the following types of organizations: 501c3 nonprofit agency, Public school, Government Agency (including cities and counties).
